20 Nov Ambler children enjoy classifying animals at the London Zoo
Ambler children enjoyed classifying animals at the London Zoo recently, when they went on a trip to further their science learning outside the classroom.
Pupils in Year 1 have been learning about the topic of ‘Amazing Animals‘ so far this term and took the chance to visit the attraction in Central London.
They identified a range of common animals at the zoo and classified them into the correct groups. The children were fortunate enough to be able to explore different animal skins to investigate their topic and also got up close and personal by stroking the zoo’s pet rat, called Chilli!
