Ambler pupils put on stunning performance of Scrooge

20 Dec Ambler pupils put on stunning performance of Scrooge

Ambler pupils put on a stunning performance of Scrooge last week, with the West End-style extravaganza incorporating acting and dancing from our talented children.

The school’s annual winter production took place on Friday 15th December, with a cleverly adapted script by Deputy Headteacher Helen Ryan that was based on ‘A Christmas Carol‘ by Charles Dickens.

Children from Years 4 to 6 took to the stage and delivered two incredibly impressive performances, which were well received by the packed audience.

As we had so many talented pupils to choose from this year, two pupils were chosen to play the eponymous ‘hero’ as the part of Scrooge was so important. We’re sure everyone will agree that Jack and Nancy both brought the character to life in different ways during their individual performances.

A perfect accompaniment to the acting came from Christmas-themed dances which were choreographed, rehearsed and performed by classes from Years 2 to 6.

Please check out some of our favourite photos from the day below and get in touch if you’d like a permanent reminder of the fantastic performances:
