26 Feb Ambler teachers deepen subject knowledge at Gillespie’s science lab

Two of Ambler’s teachers have deepened their subject knowledge at Gillespie’s science lab, building up a wealth of engaging investigation ideas to bring back to our own school.

Miss Millar and Miss Micklewright visited Lab_13 on Wednesday 21st February 2018 to explore light and sound resources, such as ear gongs and laser beams in disco smoke:

Science for Life is a new project involving 12 primaries and two secondaries in the borough that aims to address the problem of limited and imbalanced science aspirations among school children. It is led by Carole Kenrick, the Scientist in Residence at Gillespie Primary School, with support from the Institute of Physics and funding from the Dame Alice Owen Foundation.
