26 Feb Ambler teachers deepen subject knowledge at Gillespie’s science lab
Science for Life is a new project involving 12 primaries and two secondaries in the borough that aims to address the problem of limited and imbalanced science aspirations among school children. It is led by Carole Kenrick, the Scientist in Residence at Gillespie Primary School, with support from the Institute of Physics and funding from the Dame Alice Owen Foundation.
Such a pleasure to host teachers from across our Islington Science for Life partnership for a day of CPD on light & sound – absolutely buzzing with the joy of science 🔊🎵🎻🔍📷🕯️💡☀️ – & thanks so much to @CLEAPSS_Primary for the super helpful laser advice & loan ☺️ pic.twitter.com/Uezw5o7msT
