“Pupils respond positively to the school’s behaviour system. They have a perceptive understanding of the system’s rewards and sanctions. This has led to the impeccable standards of behaviour across the school.” Ofsted report 2017
We aim to ensure that children enjoy and make the most of their time at Ambler. As they progress through the school we ensure that each transition is explained to parents and children and that it goes smoothly.
The school day is structured to make the most of the times when children are alert and to keep energy levels up. We also involve the children in the running of the school to engage them and develop their sense of responsibility.
“The determination and energy of the headteacher have brought about a clear vision of high ambition and aspiration for both pupils and staff” - Ofsted 2017
Ambler is a community school, which means it is financed by public money and managed by the local authority, which also sets our admission requirements.
