We are raising £15,000 to help the staff and families in the Ambler community who have been affected by the flooding that happened in Finsbury Park.
On Tuesday 8th October 2019 – just before the school run was about to start – Finsbury park suffered a huge flood due to a burst water pipe.
The extent of the flooding was a shock to the whole area and sadly a lot of the Ambler community were affected by it. Even so our amazing children, parents and staff set off to school and work with sheer determination.
Twelve fire engines and around 80 firefighters were called to assist with the incident in Queens Drive, Finsbury Park on Tuesday morning, however despite all their hard work, many of our staff and families’ homes and possessions were damaged beyond recovery.
So Ambler Primary School would like your help!
Please donate to our cause and help us support our community with their immediate needs as they have supported us throughout the years.
You can give as little or as much as you want and if you have anything else that you would like to donate please visit the school office and leave whatever you can spare.
Food, clothing, books, toys anything will be very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
